System benefits

Titanium Alloy (Ti6Al4V) – Type II anodised
Biocompatible material with excellent fatigue strength. Modulus of elasticity closer to bone than that of stainless steel.

Nail Size Options
Three nail diameters – 10mm, 11mm & 12mm and three nail lengths - 150mm, 180mm & 250mm (250mm in 11mm & 12mm only). Accommodates anatomical variation and reduces inventory requirements.

Low Profile Cortical Screws
Low Profile Cortical Screws Ultra-low profile heads and soft tips minimise soft tissue irritation at the subcutaneous border. Choice of insertion point – medial to lateral or lateral to medial. Self tapping screws for ease of insertion. Fully threaded screws to achieve bi-cortical fixation. Increments of 2mm – 26 lengths – 20mm to 120mm

Dynamic or Static Locking Options
Choice of dynamic and static proximal locking screw options enables dynamic loading of the nail.

PA and ML Distal Screw Placement
Two PA distal screw options and two ML lateral screw options. Distal screws can be positioned accurately in the calcaneum and talus for secure fixation.

Miss-A-Nail™ Screw Option
Additional compression and rotational stability of fusion site augmented by positioning cannulated screw either anterior or posterior to nail, or both. The jig ensures that the nail position will not compromise screw placement.
